TNCN Tours American Wonder Porcelain Factory

On July 9, 2019, a small group of TN-China Network (TNCN) board members and sponsors toured TNCN corporate member American Wonder Porcelain’s factory in Lebanon, Tennessee, including its new production line due to be completed soon.  American Wonder Porcelain is the U.S. division of Chinese parent company, The Wonderful Group.  American Wonder Porcelain manufactures, markets, and sells tile only in the United States.

American Wonder Porcelain first started production in April of 2017 and has since created 180-190 jobs for workers of various backgrounds. Its employees hail from various countries, such as the U.S., China, Indonesia, and more.  American Wonder Porcelain has also made a specific effort to hire refugees.  Wonder Porcelain wants to expand its workforce to at least 200 employees and is currently hiring, specifically bilingual engineers.

Signage at the factory is in multiple languages, including English, Chinese, Italian, Spanish, and Burmese.

American Wonder Porcelain recycles 100% of the water and boxes it uses, and the packaging is produced in a way that is completely waste-free.
