TN-China Network (TNCN) is pleased to announce that in May 2018 Executive Director Elizabeth Rowland completed the 12th Annual Tennessee Basic Economic Development Course (TBEDC) through the University of Tennessee’s Center for Industrial Services (UTCIS) in Nashville, TN. Elizabeth would like to thank Mike Vaughn, CEO of Hyalynx, for sponsoring her attendance at the training. Because of this sponsorship, Elizabeth was able to learn best practices in economic and community development, as well as learn about new programs and methods conducive to promoting job growth and investment. She also had the opportunity to analyze and discuss emerging factors and trends affecting local and regional economies. Overall, this course was both a great educational experience and a tremendous networking opportunity for TN-China Network.
