Interested in meeting Chinese city-level authorities and business leaders and discovering opportunities to develop collaborative work on new electrical vehicle charging infrastructure? On May 12-20, 2018, the Tai Initiative, a non-profit organization that builds sub-national connections between the US and China, will be hosting a US delegation to Shenzhen, Hangzhou and Shanghai. This delegation is targeted towards US city officials and companies that are interested in electric vehicle charging stations and clean energy innovation. It is an affordable way for mayors, their staff, and companies to get exposed to China and the environmental market/issues there and make contacts. It will also help pave the way for your future trade or commercial development. Estimated at $3,500, the delegation fee covers seven nights’ lodging, all meals, transportation (not including the international flight), event tickets and fees, visa services, and pre-trip consulting. A $700 non-refundable deposit is required. All American municipalities are welcome to attend.
The delegation will consist of:
- A forum of government and industry in Hangzhou for unifying China’s EV charging station infrastructure
- Meeting with leaders from the California Shenzen Innovation Center
- Connecting with Los Angeles Environmental Forum representatives
- Tour of the Jiading District EV industry development support center and high-tech manufacturing site(s)
- And more!
The trip registration deadline is Friday, April 13. To earn a $200 discount, register by Wednesday, February 28.
